📸  Join the Streets – Try-Out Photowalk in Amsterdam!

Ready to swap your zoom lens for some street sense? Walk with me – through the raw, moody, and wonderfully unpredictable streets of Amsterdam.

During this try-out photowalk, we’ll capture real life in real time: fast bikes, slow walkers, awkward eye contact, and that one guy eating a herring like it’s his last meal. I’ll share tips, tricks, and maybe a terrible photography pun or two.

📸 Street Photography Workshop – Visual Storytelling & Low Light Mastery

This one-day workshop in Amsterdam is designed for photographers who are comfortable using their camera — regardless of their technical level — and are looking to push their creative boundaries. Whether you feel stuck in your approach or want to deepen your visual storytelling, this day is focused on building real-world street photography skills.

A central part of this workshop is low light photography:

  • How to shoot with confidence in dim conditions

  • Making use of available light: shadows, reflections, artificial light

  • Understanding exposure and composition when the sun is gone

We will explore the streets during the late afternoon into early evening, when mood, atmosphere, and contrast take center stage.

What you’ll learn:

  • 📍 Visual awareness – noticing stories in the everyday

  • 🧠 Storytelling – building layers of meaning into a single frame

  • ⏱️ Timing – recognizing and capturing authentic moments
